Antwerp

Antwerp, the fashion city of Belgium. The city has become more and more colourful in recent years due to the strip cartoon walls that are drawn on the walls of Antwerp city centre.

In Antwerp you can shop to your heart's content. There are plenty of shops. Not only the new fashion is here, but also vintage and second-hand stores are doing great.

Antwerp is not only known for its fashion, but also for its "little hands". The biscuits can be found everywhere. The Antwerp hands are based on a legend. The legend is told during the city tours in Antwerp. There is also a monument made of the legend and it can be found in front of the city hall.

Antwerp also has many museums, such as the Museum aan de Stroom (MAS). The museum is located in the harbour area of Antwerp on a trendy island. It is the place where the city and the port meet.

In Antwerp is not only city, there is also green. In the Botanical Garden you can enjoy a nice walk in nature. The Rivierenhof is ideal for walkers, joggers, cyclists, petanque players and fishermen. In the summer, music concerts and performances are also held here. The Rivierenhof is located in the district of Deurne.
